  1. What is the purpose of the Millennial Descendants of Benjamin Franklin Johnson Project?
    The purpose of the Project is to compile and maintain a record of both the living and deceased descendants of B.F. Johnson and his seven wives, that the legacy of his great family may be preserved. 

  2. What are the goals of this project?
    To unite family members living on both sides of the veil. To maintain awareness of the many living descendants, that there may be unity during prosperous times and support in times of difficulty.

  3. What work has been done prior to the start of this Project?
    We have most of the records of BF, his seven wives, all his children and his descendants up until 1980. These records have been published in the book "Descendants of Benjamin Franklin Johnson" )the Big Brown Book). We are now attempting to include all descendants since the Brown Book of 1980.

  4. How will the results of the Project be used?
    The compilation of individuals and contact information may be used by the BFJ Family Organization (BFJFO) to provide notification of family reunions, various family activities and events, family news, and to assist the BFJFO in providing relief and support to members in various circumstances.

  5. Will the information be used in genealogical research?
    Yes. Records of living descendants will also assist the BFJFO in accomplishing one of its primary purposes which is genealogical research.
